TO SEEK RECRUITS
IN NEARBY TOWNS

SCOUTING THURSDAY

In an effort to get a number of new recruits a number of officers will visit several nearby towns Thursday. The towns to be visited are Rossville, Alvin, Bismarck and Oakwood. Major D. R. Swaim will go to Rossville and Lieutenant Shepard will go to Oakwood. It is believed a number of new men will be secured in this manner. The Fifth regiment band is still wanting a number of musicians and an effort will be made to get these on the scouting trip.
