GEORGE BAUM

Funeral services for George ("Tommy") Baum, 48, former Danville resident who died at Hollywood, Calif., Thursday following a long illness with complications were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at Hollywood. Interment was in a Hollywood cemetery. Mr. Baum was a veteran of the world war and a past master of the Anchor Masonic lodge here. He was formerly employed by the local telephone company and later by the Illinois Power and Light corporation. He was a member of the Ben Hur band that left here with Company I at the opening of the world war and later became a top sergeant in a machine gun company of the 33rd division.
